    Stacked bar chart help?

I'm trying to create a stacked bar chart to show the contribution of one sub-category to the main category, but I'm having trouble getting the bars actually stacked by main category.

I've attached a file that has the data I'm looking at and the chart that results when I chose the stacked bar chart.

Any help in how to accomplish this would be really appreciated.

you only have 1 set of numeric values. How should that stack exactly?

I would like to see one bar for A and one bar for B with a through f representing the constituents of each bar.

    Hello,

you need a different data layout. See attached. Select the table and create a stacked column chart, then switch row/column.

    cheers,
