Huge help needed in combining data.

I've got two tabs that have the exact same information. One sheet can not be sorted due to higher having it formated and I do not know how they have it sorted or formated. The other sheet has one extra column with information that needs to be put on the master sheet.

    Example

On the master sheet Row 13 matches with Row 18 on another sheet. I am matching them by document numbers (Col J). On the second sheet there is Col AD which holds validation codes. How would I get a formula to find a specific Document number from the master sheet on the second sheet? On both sheets Document Numbers are col J and the codes need to be taken from AD on the second sheet to AD on the master sheet with the specific document number. I've got over 5800 document numbers and I'm not trying to Ctrl+F for every single document number, scroll over to the validation code, copy-paste it over to the master sheet. Please, any help will be appreciated.

Ore wa kyoto ei kagetsu soko e imashita, totemo omoshiroi des!

Regarding matching your data it seems that your could do with a vlookup. It would be easier to help if you were to upload a sample workbook demonstrating what you want in that.

    okey dokey!
