    Help with timesheets and time formats

    Hi

    I have an excel 2007 timesheet . I want to be able to enter the start/finish times etc in time format ( eg 8.30 am) but the hours to be in decimal. (a standard day is 7.60 hours)

    please help am going around in circles ...

    Like so:

    =SUM(D8-C8+F8-E8+H8-G8)*24


    Let me know if you might ever have some shifts that run over midnight.
