Vlookup nested formula to look up multiple horizontal cells in table array?

Hello,

Please forgive me if this seems elementary, I am looking for a nested formula in a VLOOKUP which is able to view multiple horizontal cells together in the table array which are actually in individual cells horizontally. I know you are able to solve this problem by inserting an additional column and using a concatenate or "&" to compress all text into a single cell. However I am looking for a nested formula that eliminates the need to insert an additional column (due to the need to continuously update data through an integrated database).

To be more specific, if i had A1: Green, B1: Red, C1: Blue, i would need the nested formula in the table array to be able to recognize the text in Green_Red_Blue together while being in individual separate cells horizontally next to each other.

=VLOOKUP(A1&B1&C1, table array, 2 )

Please let me know if you know any nested formula i could use.
