Post help in converting to numbers and filterring

    Dear All,

I am very new to this forum, I have attached the file Book1.xls

the data in sheet 1, is actually collected from website.

In column 2, there is a euro symbol with price for it, i want to remove that euro symbol and total all values easily

i tried this "=MID(Sheet1!A1,FIND("€",Sheet1!A1)+1,100)" formula, but this just removes only the euro symbol and when i tried to =value(MID(Sheet1!A1,FIND("€",Sheet1!A1)+1,100)) of this cell like this
    then formula doesnt work anymore

    second problem.

i want to delet the rows in which there are zero euros, automatically.

(If i use filter option, then i can delet them but then since there are some rows are blank its not continuos anymore; so i cant use the filter function anymore)

is thee any specif way to combine two formulas in excel.

I am sorry to bother like this, i already spent more time in trying to solve this, will be very happy if any one can help me.

I hope, i put my problem clearly
looking forward for the tips and suggestions,
    thanks in advance

    Hi

I inserted a header row in the attached workbook, then used this formula in cell C2
    =--MID(B2,3,10)

You can then copy column C and Paste Special>Values back over column B if you wish, and then delete the helper column C.

To get rid of the 0 value rows
Apply an Autofilter to the sheet>Select 0>highlight all the row numbers that are filtered>right click>Delete

    Hi

I'd be happy to do so, but no file was uploaded with your last post.
