Hi,
I am pulling my hair out trying to find out how to get a cell to display a related price when linked to a drop down list that is dependant on another drop down list.
Ie, select company, select material = related price..
simple....??? For some reason not!
I am certain this is not a difficult thing to do if you know how, but if you dont it is ridiculous! I hope you might be able to help.

Not so easy. Make sure that your company names are spelled correctly in the tabs and use something like this
=VLOOKUP(B2,INDIRECT("'"&A2&"'"&"!A2:B10"),2,FALSE)
Does that work for you?

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

Why on earth is this program so un user friendly, surely in this day and age there shouldn't be the need to program, GUI's WYSIWYG and all that!
