Cool Comparing dates Start / Finish Dates to other Start / Finish Dates to return a Level

I have three levels that my products go through (Level 0, Level 1, and Level 2) each level has a start and finish date (Column A:F). It is possible for a product to be placed On-Hold, which also has a Start and Finish Date (Column G & H)

I need to figure out in which Level the On-Hold dates happen ... say if Level 0 started 1/1/2011 and ended 3/31/2011 and On Hold Start was 2/1/2011 On Hold Finish was 2/15/2011. I would need On Hold Level (Column J) to display "Level 0".

The attached spreadsheet is a sample set of data, looking for formula in column J, the value of what Column J should be is in column K.

Your help is greatly appreciated in advance!

The question is not very clear.

Does each level take a fixed time? Do you want to finish all tasks on the same date?

My apologies, I tried to simplify without adding all the variables, the spreadsheet may make it somewhat clearer ....

Does each level take a fixed time? No, the Level "time" or duration is the difference between the Start and Finish Dates. Time varies.

Do you want to finish all tasks on the same date? No

Essentially what is comes down to is I need to understand my processing time for each level, and I do not want to count anytime it was on-hold. The database provides start and finish dates for Level 0, Level 1, Level 2, and On Hold. It does not differntiate in what "level" the product was on hold.

Also if a Level or On Hold Finish is blanks but has started we will assume it is still ongoing in that level.
