    sumproduct problem

    Hello

Having some difficulty making the sumproduct function work.

I have attached a sample. The red cell contains the formula, and I need to capture the data as far as the yellow cells.

Im getting a #REF error, so not sure what might be triggering that issue. I appreciate the help.

    here is the formula

    =SUMPRODUCT(--('Nashville-Memphis'!$D$8:$D$1119=$D$56),--('Nashville-Memphis'!$C$8:$C$1119=$A$2),INDEX('Nashville-Memphis'!$E$8:$E$1119,0,MATCH(C$1,'Nashville-Memphis'!$E$5:$Y$5,0)))

    can someone pls help!

    Hello - FINALY REQUEST!

I was wondering how I can formulate the "countif" portion...so I can get a count of how many times a city name has repeated in a particular time frame

i..e in range B2 all the way to B27, using the formula I have? thx you!

    Re: sumproduct problem

can anyone tell me what I maybe doing incorrect on this formula....basically, im just trying to do a simply count to see how many times a city name appears in a certain time frame

    =SUMPRODUCT(--('Nashville-Memphis'!$D$8:$D$1119=$D$56),--('Nashville-Memphis'!$B$8:$B$1119=$A2),'Nashville-Memphis'!$D$8:$D$1119)

it's giving me a 0, when it really should be 2 for P1W1
