Repetitive procedures

Hi there

I am building a website with a lot of data and need some advice doing a few things.

When I receive my databses I need to convert some values into others every time, so for example;

fridge magnets - fridgemagnets1
peelers - peelers1
etc

I have this for about 30 different types of product, and what is happening is once every few days, I am adding a few hundred products to the existing database, so, every few days, I am performing this same find and replace 30 times. Don't sound much but its bugging me!

Is there some way I can make this a one button process every time I want to do it?

Also, just to give you my level, I only just learned what Consanate? does as well as using the &symbols.
