    Summary of a detail list

    Dear Friends,
I am attaching a file here which contain 2 sheets. 1 is the detail and the other is the summary.
My fields here are Zone, Sub area, Customer, Month and Amount. What I want is to link the two sheets with a formula which will check the Zone, Sub are a and month from the detail sheet and the corresponding customer's name should write in the summary sheet but only once. ie if in April if the zone is Kochi sub area is Cycle D-Link Cycles should appear in the summary sheet but only once and give the total amount for April.

I know that the simple way is pivot table, but I would like to have some function to crack this problem.

Hope you got my idea and all the best

    regards,
    Sethup
