first of all I hope I am on a good topic. Second I have a bit of a complex problem...hope you can help me.
--> this is how it goes. Let's say we have TABLE 1 and TABLE 2.
1)
Table 1 we have one column = CODES, and the second column = COMMENTS. Column codes is the database for all existing codes we have.
Table 2 has only one column = CODES2 and in this column we enter codes that are in table 1.
2) This is what we want to do:
When I write a new code in table 2 (that already exists in table 1) I would like to see the comment that is in table 1 specificly for that code.
So excel should recognize that I have entered this code (same as in table 1) and should bring out the comment written in table 1 that belongs to this code.
I hope I didn't write this confusingly. If you have any questions to clear this up, just ask.
