pulling data from other sheets using a referance cell???

    Hello,
My current problem is that I want to use sheet1(Player Scores) to enter raw data and then use the rest of the sheets to sort and organize the data into useful information.(seems logical)
There is a distinct patter that the raw data will be enter
    QB
    RB
    RB
    WR
    WR
    TE
    K
    DEF
    repeat

I tried following this patter and enter 'Player Scores'!E7, "Player Scores'!E15, 'Player Scores'E23. Highlighted all three and dragged it down hoping to get E31,E39... It didn't work

My next thought was to add some hidden reference cells which I like and will keep because they allow me to easily see where the data is coming from if I have issues. But I don't know how to write it so excel will look at the reference cell, pull out the reference number and go to the 'Player Scores' sheet and pull the data.

As always any help is appreciated.
    thank you

sweet, I get to answer my own question.

I found the INDIRECT function, did a little digging on the syntax, and used the reference cells I had previously set up and came up with this.
    Formula: copy to clipboard
