Cover sheet formula

I am looking for a formula that will add the same cell from multiple pages in a spreadsheet.

Example of pages with different titles:

joe1, joe2, joe3, al1, al2, al3, jane1, jane2, jane3

I just want to add cell L23 from sheets named al1, al2, al3.

Any help would be appreciated.
