Changing line colour when entering specific text

    Hi guys

I have a sheet (attached) where I want the lines to change colour automatically when I enter Closed row E. So for example, if I change the text in E4 from Open to Closed, it will turn yellow.

I want to be able to add lines below as well to add to the sheet, so is there a way of doing a macro that will automatically change the colour of a row if I put in a certian word into a certain box?

    Cheers,

    Jon

    Done on the attached file.

You can easy do than using conditional formatting.

If you want to do that with a macro just reply.
