Trying to index and offset in a formula

I have a sheet that I need to get information from another sheet.

In K20 of CMT sheet, I want to look up the value in YTD sheet. The value will be from the Grand Total line(YTD sheet) and April(column). I need to search for Grand Total because the data may change next month, moving rows up or down.

Re: Trying to index and offset in a formula

I have figured out this formula

But, I don't want to have to go in every month and change the column number.
Example: 5 is for April. I would have to go into every formula and change 5 to 6 for May.

Can I use an Offset formula in addition to this?

    =VLOOKUP("Total Expenditures",'YTD EXPENSES'!A5:N45,z1,FALSE)
where z1 is the number for the month you want
