How to calculate number of days?

Hi All

Just joined. Please help me look good to my client!!!

I need to work out the number of days between two dates and knock 30 off the result..e.g.

16 Dec 2010 to Feb 28 2011 less 30 is 44 (I hope!). I have over a hundred of these to do - anyone know a quick formula.

If you have those dates in two cells you can just subtract them to get the number of days, e.g. with the earlier date in A2 and later one in B2 try this formula in C2

=B2-A2-30
