Question Auto adding of a row

Hi I am using Excel to do some basic calculations (inexperienced user), I have four columns of numbers that take up approximately 20 rows, I total them at the bottom. I leave two rows clear before the totals, but want to know if there is a way to automatically add rows should I choose to include more data, therefore always leaving the two blank rows in place. I know that I can right click and add rows that way, but I wanted to know if there was a way so that after I enter the last cell's data the spreadsheet would automatically inert a new line?

    Many thanks

Re: Auto adding of a row

    1) Click in the main data range.

    2) Press CTRL-L to activate the "Table" wizard, make sure it selects your data boundaries properly and select OK.

Your data is now an Excel "table" and if you click outside the data you see a nice blue box bounding the data.

But if you click IN the data, an "expansion row" is offered to you at the bottom of the data. Type anything in any cell on this row and the table will permanently expand to include this new row, copying formulas and formatting from the row above.
