Shift planner - count the number of staff in the morning and afternoon

    Hello,

I have written a shift planner and want to count how many staff are in work in the morning and the afternoon. They can start at anytime from 6am and for the purpose of afternoons I have set that to start at 12pm.

    I write each shift as 7am - 3pm, 8am - 4pm etc.

I can count the number of instances:

But wanted to count all instances that start from 6am to 12pm for the morning. Then all that include 12pm onwards. Is this possible or can you guide me on an alternative. I don't mind changing the format.

    Thanks,

    JP

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Hope that helps.
