I am looking at an excel spreadsheet, and it has a calculation rule =(+AK153), but the cell AK153 does not exist. In fact the column only goes from A to P. Is it because the column AK is hidden? If so how do I unhide it?

Click on the Grey box immediately above "1" and to left of "A" -> right click on the "A" and select Unhide.
If the sheet is protected such that the above is not an option you will first need to un-protect the sheet with the password.
