Change cell color after one year from entered date

There has got to be a simple fix but I'm having trouble with it. I enter a date in a given cell and then one year from that entered date I want the cell to change colors.

Conditional formatting with the condition based on the date that you want to be 1 year prior, and then add the 365/360 days.

Re: Change cell color after one year from entered date

I am just not entering the right condioinal format I guess. Here is what I have got: Date of 8/7/2010 in cell C2. I want cell C2 to change to a specific color after 8/7/2011. Then after I change the date in C2 I want the format to repeat again after one year of the date that was entered new. What conditioinal format and formula would I use to make this happen. Thanks for your help.
