    printing certain areas

I do have another thread going on this, which has given me some direction, but haven't been able to actually solve this problem yet.

I work with a template where I want to print a certain area of one of the tabs. Is there a way I can set this area so I dont have to keep selecting it each time? Its not the whole page, just certain parts.

Also I believe we can name certain ranges, such as A5-15 can be named Taxes or whatever. Is there a way to just print one of these named ranges?

The problem is the default method of printing is to print the whole page legal size. While for my reference I want to print it in letter size, and therefore only half the page to read it more easily (otherwise too small). Its a pain to have to select a range, print preview, print setup, choose letter size, print. Then not select anything, print preview, page setup, legal size, print. Then do this for the other tab. Nooo need a shortcut!

You should have posted a sample workbook with some realistic dummy data and colored the block(s) of cells that you wish to print.

OK attached. the green highlight is what I want to print for my own reference, on letter size.

i want to print on legal size for official submission. this should be whatever the default whole page is, which is typically whatever's in the green plus the red highlight.
