    Pivot Table Data Filtering

    All,
I need some help in filtering a Pivot Table. I've attached a sample file for review but this is that I have.

In my Pivot Table I have

Report Filter - "Vessel" Represented as A-G
Row Labels - "Space" Represented as Tank 1-4 & "Date"
    Value - "Dew Point"

My Pivot Table returns the correct data, but I want to be able to filter the report to only see the last date and it's corresponding "Dew Point" / "Space" reading highlighted in my attachment. I've tried to modify the "date" field setting to max, but the report returns what I feel is bad information.

    Very Best Regards,
    Sean

    Re: Pivot Table Data Filtering

Sort your data by space then by date and use VLOOKUP. See attached.

    Re: Pivot Table Data Filtering

Thank you tlafferty, but I need to my report to give me the last date of the "dew point" for each "vessel" in my table. See Attached on "Sheet 2"

    Very Best Regards,
    Sean

See if the attached reorganized pivot table does the trick.

    Re: Pivot Table Data Filtering

Thanks again Thomas, but that still isn't what I need. In the report your provided, the "Dew Point" is subtotaled. I need the "Dew Point" that is referenced in the table for the last date done (or most recent). I need this by "Vessel" & by "Space". In the attached report you'll notice I've highlighted the "date" and "dew point" I need my report to show. For whatever reason Excel won't let me use the MAX filter on the date in the field setting for "date". Additional help would be greatly appreciated
