Auto insert in a column

Hi,

I am new on this forum, my question is, How can I auto insert a value in a cell.

Letīs say:

A1 is 2001L
B1 is John

All I want is whenever I put 2001L in Colum A , it will auto complete in colum B as John

Hi,

Not quite sure if this is what you mean but assuming you mean for any entry in column A, then the adjacent entry in column B should be John, try in B1 and copied down.
