"File name" in "Save As" dialogue blank

    Hello,

I recently upgraded to Excel 2010. Since the upgrade, whenever I "Save As", the "File name" field in the dialogue is blank.

I tend to use a lot of files where I'm saving many versions a day, and it's kind of driving me crazy.

My IT folks don't know what's up, so I'm counting on you guys

    Thanks in advance.

That's weird because I have Office 2010 and haven't seen this problem before. Maybe a new clean installation is in order?

    Interesting.

All of my colleagues have the same issue so if you don't, I'm assuming it's something to do with the image they (our IT crew) have created. I can't seem to find anything within the template book that would cause it. I wonder where else it could be hanging out.

(For what it's worth, this behaviour isn't consistent with the other Office applications.)

    Thanks for your post, though.
