How to count the # of cells that are Conditionally Formatted?

I have used Conditional Formatting to highlight all the cells that <> 0. Out of these cells, I would like to count them. How do I do that? I'm confident that it's a CountIf, but am unsure of the formula to input. Thanks in advance!
