I work at a school in Egypt, a colleague asked me to have a look at a problem she's having with Excel which seemed unusual to me and I haven't been able to find the problem. Whenever she creates a new worksheet the view is reversed. The row names run down the right hand side of the page and the columns run A, B, C, D, etc from right to left along the top instead of from left to right as is usual. The worksheets are listed on the bottom-right of the screen instead of the bottom-left.
When opening an existing workbook everything is as normal, but when adding a new worksheet to the same work book everything is reversed on the new sheet but as normal on the old sheets.
Totally perplexed by this, I thought maybe it was something to do with regional settings as we're in an Arab country but everything is set to UK regional settings. Anybody any idea how to fix?
