    Pivot Table filter question

I've tried finding a solution to this but to no avail!

I have a rather large data source which is defined and is the source to multiple pivot tables in a report.

Each pivot table has one style number selected - everything else is unchecked.

I recently added new data to the source and turns out some new style numbers are in the source...so when I refresh my pivot tables - these new style numbers that were never unselected (because they were never in the data source) are now appearing in my pivot tables.

I have found ways to include new data in a pivot table - but is there a way to PREVENT new data from appearing in a pivot table if it's already filtered?

I cannot find an answer to this anywhere...please be aware that I am still on Excel 2003 - another challenge!

    Thank you!

    Re: Pivot Table filter question

If you don't refresh your pivot table, you won't get new data in there and can manipulate current data as needed.
