    Hello,

Excel is an application that runs on PCs (and Macs). There is no quick AND easy way to publish an Excel sheet to a web site AND make its functionalities available to web users.

    cheers,

The easy way is to save the Excel file as a web page and then upload that file to the web site, but it won't have Excel functionality. Excel is not a web application, and even companies like Microsoft (!!) have so far failed to come up with a quick and easy way to publish Excel files with more than data display functionality in a web browser.

thanks, I thought there could be a Ajax or similar solution that converts the Excel and enriches with some dropdowns, can't be so complicated. BR

You can probably download OpenOffice, try to convert the excel file to Open Office format, and then host it with Google Docs. Slightly more functions than if you just converted to a webpage (maybe?)

But Open Office is fairly lol compared to Excel, so it's not likely that everything will be retained.

..I was considering using Google Docs (table), but this will not work for a company website as you will have to keep a fixed haeader and footer frame area. I personally like Google, but the layout will be a prob. BR
