# IF in IFERROR, need the result to be 0% if there is an error or the answer is 100%

1. ## IF in IFERROR, need the result to be 0% if there is an error or the answer is 100%

Hi everyone!

I am calculating percentage change with formula: =(IFERROR((D6-C6)/C6;0%)), which results any error to be shown as 0%.

My problem:

How could I integrate IF formula with IFERROR, so that if everytime the result is 100%, the result would still show 0%. Or is there another formula I could use?

Thanks alot,

Do you only want to do that if the result is exactly 100%, what if it's 101%...or 200% or 300%? Register To Reply

Try:

=IF(ISERROR((D6-C6)/C6);0%;IF((D6-C6)/C6=100%;0%;(D6-C6)/C6)) Register To Reply

Did you check if the result of (D6-C6)/C6 is exactly 100% (i.e. is it formatted to show no decimals)? Register To Reply

You should only get 100% if D6 is exactly double C6 therefore

=IFERROR(IF(D6/C6=2;0;D6/C6-1);0) Register To Reply
