Pivot Tables Help

Im just starting to use pivot tables if I have a list like

Input Output Mark

DI1 DO2 l
DI1 DO3 I
DI1 DO4 I
DI1 DO5 I
DI1 DO6 I
DI1 DO7 I
DI1 DO8 x
DI1 DO9 I
DI1 DO10 I
DI2 DO4 I
DI2 DO6 I
DI2 DO9 I
DI2 DO10 I
DI3 DO6 I
DI3 DO7 I
DI3 DO8 I
DI3 DO9 I
DI3 DO10 I
DI4 DO7 I
DI4 DO8 I
DI4 DO9 x
DI4 DO10 I
DI4 DO11 I
DI4 DO12 I
DI4 DO13 I
DI4 DO14 I
DI4 DO15 I
DI4 DO16 I

I want the Input to be on the rows and ouput to be in columns and the mark to fill in the data eg. (not the thing)
output
Input DO1 DO2
DI1 x I
DI2
DI4

with the rest filed in can I use pivot table to do that or is there a better way
