Conditional Formating to Format for DATES

    Hi All,

I am trying to use Conditional Formating to set my Important date tracker.

I am able to set a format style to make it RED if it is due, but I am not able to set a combined formula to turn in BLUE if it has been attended.

    i.e.
    1. D8 has a date 5th September 2011 (05-Sep-11) to attned a specific task.
    2. Conditional Format has been set in such a way that it will be Bold & RED on the written date.
    3. D8 will turn BOLD & RED if, the date has been passed.
    4. E8 has a remarks "YES" / "NO", describing if the task has been attended or not.

I am not able to set a conditional format to Make D8 BLUE, on later days then the written date; if E8 has "YES" as the value.

At present I am changing the format manually, however it is quite a bit work to attend everyday. Please suggest the way to attend this.

    Thanks,
    Rushi

Hello & Welcome to the Board Rushi,

    Could it be...

    =AND(D8>TODAY(),E8="Yes")
    HTH
    Regards, Jeff

    Hi Jeffrey,

Thanks for suggestion. Do you suggest to use this Formulae in Conditional Format window? I tried that and result is no change.

If I will use this formulae in cell, probably I will loose the date.!

    Regards,
    Rushi

    Hi,

I just used your query in the attached spreadsheet.

I may not have fully understood your specifics.

I used 2 separate conditions which appear to work.

    Cheers
