    Adding Select Cells

    I have two colums, one is simply a Y (yes) or N (no) and the second is a numerical ammount. I need to add up the second colum with the numbers, but only the numbers that have a Y in the column to there left... Is this possible?

    I have attached a sample so you can see what I mean.

    use sumif
    =SUMIF(F4:F20,"y",G4:G20)
