    picking out the 10 highest numbers from a table

    Hi,

    I am trying to pick out the 10 largest numbers from a table (several rows and collumns).
    The best thing would be if the top 10 numbers could have different colors or something.

    Plz, using AutoFilter: To activate AutoFilter, click in your heading row and go to Data>Filter>AutoFilter

    Once the drop arrows appear, click on one of the arrows to the right of a column heading and you will see a list of options - (Top 10...) is one of these options

    I do not see that this can be done if I have, lets say, numbers in 10 column and 10 rows (100 numbers) and I want to highlight the top 10, so I can see how many there are in a certain row or column.

    try like this you need a named formula to format the cells
