    Notifications in Excel

    I have read a number of posts, but none quite answer my questiom, so here goes.

    I can do basic Excel formulas, but this one is way over my head.

    I have produced a basic spreadsheet for work completion dates. Column A is references, B is the date we received the work and C is the target date for completion, D is the date that it was actually completed. Is there a way to set up a notification if the day the work is due to be completed (C) arrrives and the work has not been completed, so D is empty?

    I only want this if the work has not been completed, is this possible?

    Thanks in advance, if there are ay other questions regarding this, then please let me know.

    Re: Notifications in Excel

    You can put conditional formatting to paint your row where D is blank and C is greater than today...

    =AND($D1="", $C1>TODAY())

    For pop up notification you need to use Macro.
