We just recently converted at my work from Office 2003 to Office 2007. In doing so a problem has creeped up on a spreadsheet we use. The original cell reference was keyed as
='Dealer Liaiblity'!$F$5
The spreadsheet is a mutliple tab workbook. The above cell is referencing a cell on a different tab than the where the cell is located.
When updating the spreadsheet to make a copy of the tab with the above cell reference Excel updates it to look as follows
='http://efile.nwie.net/Documents and Settings\charrol.ALLIED\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\CK98BM8V\[Garage ws[1].xls].xls].xls].xls].xls].xls].xls]Dealer Liability'!$F$5
How do I get it to stop adding the "file" reference to the cell referecne? I don't want/can't have the cell trying to reference a file since the path listed here is on someone else's computer and not accessible by others.
I trie to search the forums to make sure this hadn't already been addressed but was getting a memory error from the website.
Thanks in advance for any assistance provided.
