I know the start time of an activity and also the total number of hours, I want to computer the completion time. I may not be formatting the values correctly.
Start time: 9:00 AM
Length: 11.5
Completion time: ????

How about...
=A1+(A2/24)
A1 = Start Time
A2 = Length
Format as time

A3 = End time =A1+A2 =20:50
