Date Count By Month with Multiple Criteria

    Hi,

I am in need of a formula that counts the dates by month based on an additional criteria. Please see the attachment which shows my data set and what I am looking to accomplish. For example in my spreadsheet I need the Count by month for January with a Status of 50 and all the January Dates with a status of 60 and so forth.

    Thanks!!

Thanks. Is there a way to do it with a formula as I need to perform the same analysis numerous times with multiple data sets?

Data as 22.1, 23.1, 31.1 you want under same month count?
Also what about same month in different years?

Re: Date Count By Month with Multiple Criteria

Correct. 22.1, 23,1 and 31,1 should fall under the same month. Therefore, I am only concerned with the month not the days within a specific month

In terms of the same month in different years - it would be great to have the formula so it recognizes the year too. Therefore, January 1, 2011 and January 1, 2012 could fall under different counts due to the difference in the year. However, if that poses in an issue I can do without

    Thanks!!

Depends how you want to organise your table.
Here is example. First you need to create some months table to take out your dates (so I inserted extra column).
