    Vlookup formula errors

    UPDATE: problem was many typo errors that occured for unknown reason.....thanks for everyone's help!

    B56: There is no 9/7/1970 in Column C. Why should it return sqr?
    B64: 1/5/1971 occurs in C23 so why should it be blank?
    B70: 1/11/1971 occurs in C22...
    B82: 1/23/1971 occurs in C25...
    B88: 1/29/1971 occurs in C24...
    Am I misunderstanding your intent?

    substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

    Yes, sorry, the example has a typo error.....the correct, original date 9/7/1970 changed to 9/7/1971 when I deleted the 400+ superfluous dates to make the example easier to understand.

    I am now double-checking all the other dates before I upload a corrected example version. Gosh darn, that is frustrating, I triple checked before uploading....NEVER meant to exercise you at all. ;-(
