    Excel and iPad

I have developed a simple worksheet to take into the field for safety inspections. The worksheet employs excel list functions. We would like to be able to put this spreadsheet on the iPad and use it in the field. I have downloaded "Numbers" for the iPad and have noticed that the list function and the ability to insert columns is not available. Does anyone know of an app that can be downloaded for the iPad that will allow excel to be fully functional and usable on both PC and Apple computers/tablets?

    Thanks

    Hi

Unfortunately you will not get full functionality with Excel but try contacting Dataviz
    HTML Code:
, who produce Documents to Go and their Excel product may well have what you need.

    Regards

Hi Botts and welcome to the forum,

I know that Office 2011 for the Mac has very few compatibility issues with Office 2010 for the PC. Date standards seems to be the biggest but not inserting columns.

You present a new quesiton when asking about the iPad. I just hadn't considered that the iPad would be much different than the Mac.

Searching the net at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAcPu9kgFe8 it seems the iPad presents new problems for compatibility. Some iPad forums seem to have partial answers also at http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-apps/...eets-ipad.html
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
