Good Evening All,
What I'm looking to do is take 3 vending machine reports that look different but stock the same or similar items (vending machine a and c it is located in column c, vending machine b it is located in column b), and rank the 10 most used items per week, less the ones in category 1 welding (vending machine b column d). Once I get the 10 most used items per week is pull the qty per week add it together (all three machines) and display it into a graph. One of the problems I see the graphs must be dynamic due to the fact what is the most used item one week may not be the most used item the next week. I would like the graph to display the last 12 weeks of use once the data is put together.
In the attached file I have labeled an example sheet. The 3 sheets to the left of the example are a sample bit of data from the vending machines, that is in the original format.
I don't know if creating a formula is the way to go or using a macro is better. I have no experience with macros at this point but I'm willing to learn.
I'm looking for a direction/guide to go by because I have a few of these to make every week
Thank you for any help
Chris
