Please Help! HW is crazy!

Ok here is the scenario. For my class I have been given an assignment in which I am supposed to analyze data for a "company" and then I am supposed to Display my findings with graphs etc. Some of the things I am looking for is Total Revenue, Revenue by Company, and revenue by category. My problem is I have never worked with this much data before. It is over 2200 (not a typo) rows and around 8 columns.

The columns are:
Company name
Product category
Product name
Company sold to
Revenue by unit
Number of Units per purchase
and Disount

I am feeling totally overwhelmed by all the data I cant find a starting point. Everything I try just does not seem to work. For instance, if I wanted to create a graph showing revenue by all companies how would I organize that? Everytime I try to create a graph it plots a point for each individual sale. How would I be able to put all of one comapines sales organized by each product type? If that makes sense please get back to me, and help would be tremendously appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are you able to post a copy of the data you're working with?
