Hello, this is new for me. I've just started using ms query. Is there a way to restrict access to certain database sources. We have different sources that we need to draw data from but need to restrict access to a couple of data sources. Our finance department uses Dimensions which holds confidential / sensitive info that we can't have everyone being able to access, however, all other users use another data source that we'd need to access via MS Query. Our IT department tells me that to use Dimensions with MS Query we need to open up access to the drive it's on, meaning everyone will have access to it, which we can't allow. Basically, one group can't not be allowed to have access to the finance data source.

Is ther a way around this? A way to restrict access?
