Excel 2007 : Exclamation mark on file icon?

Some of my files have a red exclamation mark on them when viewing the documents library. Does anyone know why and how to get rid?

Yes, it's because the files in question contain macros.
Do you still want to get rid of them? You could try diplaying them as medium icons instead. That seems to do the trick.

Alternatively, try doing it through the associations panel and change the icon associated with that file type.

Thankyou. That explains it fine. The medium icons still has the exclm mark though. Can you advise what you mean by the associations panel please?
