Create mutiples Cells based on input number

    Hello,

This might have been answered or not, so far I have been unsuccessful in finding the answer.

I am wanting to create a sheet that would "auto-populate" content based on input from a user. as follows

The user puts in the number 4 in a specific cell, the result of that action will be 4 cells created with predetermined content. If the user put in the number 1, only one cell would be created with predetermined content.

So, I have sheet 1 being the user form, sheet 2 would be the predetermined content (service 1, service 2, service 3, service 4, service 5, etc...), sheet 3 would have the outcome of input.

I hope this is clear enough.

If you need clarification, please ask.

    Thank you

    Welcome to the Forum!

If the user enters a number, how do you determine the configuration of the cells? All in one row? All in one column? Something else?

How is the predetermined content selected based on the number entered? Is it service 1, service 2, service 3..., service n, where n is the number entered? Or are the rules for selection more complex than just starting from the beginning?

You will get the best response if you provide a workbook that shows an example of how you want this to look (with the results just typed in as an example).

Thanks for the response 6StringJazzer and sorry for the lack of clarity.

I have attached a very basic example of what I am trying to accomplish.

The predetermined content is selected based on the number entered in the user form: if number 2 is entered then service 1 and service 2 will show in destination sheet, if 3 is entered, then service 1, service 2 and service 3 will show... At least that's where I am going to start.

I hope I made things more clear.

    Thank you.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back.

Attached is a solution. Note that it uses named ranges to help the readability of the formulas. If you find that confusing let me know and I can write them using cell addresses.
