    Dragging Forumla to equal column

    Hello,

    I'm in cell B4 and make it equal D21, when i drag to B5 i want it to equal D22. I've always know it will equal the next column unless you use an absolute reference, but is there a way to make it equal the row below and still be in the same column ? From example above when I drap from B4 to B5, B5 would = D22.

    I've attached she worksheet i'm working in. I had to manuall hit = and click on the correct cell.

    Any help would be nice.

    Thanks,

    JR

    If you are going from B4 to B5, click on B4 and using the fill handle drag down. B5 will now =D22

    Re: Dragging Forumla to equal column

    Highlight B4:C4 and enter =Transpose(D21:D22)

    IMPORTANT
    This is an array formula
    Enter the formula >> press F2 then >> CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER
    If entered correctly, the formula will be enclosed in {brackets}
    Do not enter the {brackets} manually
