    Unhappy Excel error message

I have Microsoft Office 2000 and I am having a problem with the Excel program which has always worked in the past.
I get this message when I try and open Excel:

Microsoft Excel for Windows has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. [I never get any notification]

    Then this message pops up:
There was a problem sending the command to the program.
I have tried the repair, the uninstall and reinstall but it still does not work.

try to click the shortcut/properties un-tick the run as administrator under compatibility tab.
also go to program files/office look for excel.exe then untick the run as administrator
I think people forget the word "THANK YOU!!!!" Do you still know it???

There is a little star ( ADD REPUTATION ) below those person who helped you. Click it to say your "PRIVATE APPRECIATION TO THEIR EFFORT ON THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS "

    Regards,
