    Count Formula

    Hi guys,

    in row 2 i have a load of different shifts agents work

    10-7, 11-7, 9-5, 11-8, 12-8. 9-6, 9-7

    is there a forumla i can use to work out how many times the 7 appears only?? even though it says 9-7

    Hello,

    with the values above in cells A1 to F1, you could use

    =SUMPRODUCT(--(NOT(ISERROR(FIND("7",A1:F1)))))

    =SUMPRODUCT(--(ISNUMBER(FIND("7",A1:F1))))
