    Excel Graphs

    Hi

I have a set of data that I want to graph in Excel, but both the X axis and the Y axis data types are numerical.

I am fine with formatting the Y axis and so forth, that's no problem. My problem is with the X axis.

I understand that Excel is seeing the data type as "text", even though they are numbers. My values are -78, 0, 22, 50, and 100. I want to graph it instead of show it as a chart, and so the negative numbers are on the left of the Y axis etc. I also want to change the value to start at -100 and go up in increments of 50.

    Is this possible to achieve?

    Re: Excel Graphs

I've been able to create it on my graphics calculator, but I need it to be in Excel so I can make it bigger and format it etc.

    Re: Excel Graphs

Use X-Y scatter plot as the chart type and it will see the X data as numeric
