    Non blank named range from named range with blanks

    Hi All,

    I have a named range with blanks both at the start and end of the range. So for eg:

    <Blank>
    <Blank>
    2
    3
    55
    9
    <Blank>

    How can I get the non-blank range using a formula? So

    2
    3
    55
    9

    I have tried offset function but that doesn't work as I normally count the blanks to skip that many rows from the top but due to the blanks at the end of the range this approach fails here..

    Thanks

    If all your values are numeric, see if this workbook gives you some ideas.

    Re: Non blank named range from named range with blanks

    Happy to have helped.

    Here's a better solution, the formula in Column B is not volatile.
    It will also work with mixed data types. (numeric, text, and removes errors)

    The previous solution was volatile, it used OFFSET() and other volatile functions, and could significantly reduce the efficiancy with longer lists.
