Place Text box between X axis and bottom border of chart

In Excel 2010 I need to place a text box between the X axis and the bottom border of a chart.
How can increase the white space between the X axis and the bottom border to allow me to do this?

increase the value of 'Label distance from axis' on the format axis dialog.

What sort of information should appear between axis labels and edge of plot area?

I need expand the data table
The data table shows the values of each series in a stacked bar chart. I need it to include additional data so I want to insert a table.

The setting will increase the gap but the axis text will be centered in the space between plotarea and top of table.

If you do not have table bordering applied you could add some dummy series to the chart to get addition blank rows in the data table.
